This is one of the few full-tang hunting knives I have made.It is double convex ground after careful forging and the 01 blade is cryogenically heat treated to RC60 at the edge with a softer spine.
It is dead easy to sharpen but holds an edge for ages.
01 is, in my opinion, about the single best using knife steel there is unless you happen to want stainless steel. Few alloys come close to it for edge retention, toughness and ease of resharpening.
